The shield bears the national colors: red, white and blue, an indication that this institution is genuinely Filipino and so to impress “PATRIA” into the field of the shield
The “CROSS” occupies the center of the shield to give the most important position. It symbolizes the missionary character of the A.R. Congregation.
On the left side of the shield is an emblem of the Congregation of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters.
“VIRTUS AND SCIENTIA” indicate the two-fold objectives of teaching: Virtues and knowledge, which characterize Authentic Catholic Education.
The outer rim contains the school’s name, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School and location, Plaridel Street, Galas, Quezon City.
